A real-time dashboard that measures labor market tightness using the unemployment gap (u − u*), combining credible-set uncertainty, sample-based standardization, and standard-error scaling.
This provides a transparent framework for assessing whether the labor market is tight, slack, or roughly balanced.

U.S. Employment Dynamics Dashboard
A regularly updated dashboard that tracks payroll employment growth across major U.S. industries and states using Current Employment Statistics data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The dashboard shows which industries are adding or losing jobs, each sector’s contribution to total employment change, and its share of total payroll employment. It also provides an interactive state map for comparing month-over-month growth, year-over-year growth, and each state’s share of U.S. employment.
